Coupon Organizing

I am a little embarrassed to say all of this was in purse! I have recently started coupon shopping more often. Normally when I have a coupon, I always forget to use it. So I made this cute little organizer to help keep track of all my coupons.

It was really easy to make. Take 8 envelopes, use the bind-it-all machine to bind them.

Then decorate. I also used Velcro to hold the black envelope flap down.

My little coupon organizer turned out really simple and cute! And now my purse is a lot cleaner!
I labeled all the envelopes into categories (like grocery, mall, restaurant etc.) I have been really good at using coupons and have found I am saving a lot of money!

It's pretty cute, even my children are now aware of coupons and saving money. Instead of just asking for every treat we see in the store, my 8 year old will say "Mom, do you have a coupon for these?" or "Are these a good deal?"

It has made me happy seeing all the money I have been saving on groceries. You know what saving money on food means? More money for scrapbooking!!!

Blooming Memories!

I finally did it, last year I planted some bulbs. This has been something that I have wanted to do for almost 15 years, but by the time fall comes around I am tired of yard work, and I never plant anything. Well I finally planted some bulbs, and I am so glad I did, it is done and I won't have to do it again, yet I can enjoy them each spring. Sometimes I feel like I don't have time to scrapbook, yet I know that each page I finish will be a treasured memory that I can look at year after year.

These little grape hyacinth are extra special, because they remind me of being a little girl and making mud pies in the back yard. They were the perfect way to decorate a mud pie. I love how my childhood memories come flooding back to me as look at these beautiful flowers.

Organizing The Scrapbook Way

I have four little boys... You can imagine how the bottom of my coat closet looked! I was so tired of searching for shoes everyday. So I went and bought four of these organizing drawers. I organized all the shoes and made these cute little name tags for each of my children. The cute tags only took me about 10 minutes to make. The cleaning part... that's a different story!!! (I wish I could of cleaned out my entire closet in 10 minutes!!)

Beach Pages

I finally finished the Beach Pages, It took me a little longer than I wanted.

I have four kids and three of them are sick right now! I was excited to have a little time to put these together while they were sleeping.

I really loved how they turned out! The colors are so bright and fun!

I had such a great time, I made two pages out of the same line!

I really like all the bling on this page! It is so fun to use and having ALL boys I don't get to use it that often!

Both of these pages will be made up into page kits, I will be taking them up to the store this Wed.
